Discipleship is not passive. It requires love, empathy, transparency, responsibility, and the ability to see people beyond where they are right now. In “Lessons from The Forge,” we are challenged to follow the blueprint Jesus already gave us and commit to making disciples, not copies of ourselves.
In this message, Pastor Tenika teaches that making disciples requires us to:
- See people beyond who they currently are
- Give people a second chance
- Show empathy
- Practice transparency
- Remain faithful to our own responsibilities
Jesus has called us to go, teach, baptize, and disciple with His authority and His presence. As we grow in Christ, we are called to help others grow too.
